Meet Robin
Robin has been a licensed Psychologist and counselor for 39 years specializing in treating eating disorders, anxiety, grief, life transitions and works closely with the LGBTQIA+ community. To fulfill her dream of contributing to the mental health of the Delaware Valley in a more significant way, she co-founded Hornstein, Platt and Associates(HPA), a multidisciplinary insurance based behavioral health practice. Acting as the Clinical Director of HPA for 21 years, she focused on the development and supervision of hundreds of therapists to aid them in treating thousands of clients…
Robin’s Approach
Learning what blocks growth, what is changeable and how you can use this knowledge are the ultimate goals of psychotherapy and life coaching. In my 39 years of experience as an eclectic, intersectional and experiential provider I have helped people heal from trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD and much more. As a therapist, I will work with you to understand how your body and thoughts carry a story that we can work with to improve your day to day life. As a life coach, I work to tailor experiments in change that are forward facing as we work together to redefine your day to day experiences.
Providing you with a safe space
What matters most to me is that you understand your deeper self and the impacts of your life experiences as you move out of worrying and panic, depression and behaviors that are not serving you to find meaning, joy and connectedness. The reality is life if hard; we cannot hide from the difficulties that cause pain and grief. To find moments of joy, pride and peace, to make hard decisions and stand by yourself, to be vulnerable and be yourself is the biggest gift you can give yourself and I am happy to help.
